Bermuda-based telco Digicel has submitted a filing with the SEC to list shares in an IPO worth up to US$200m.
JP Morgan, UBS, Citigroup, Barclays and Credit Suisse will act as underwriters, the company said in the filing.
Digicel claims to have 10.8 million customers across its 25 Caribbean markets, and 2.8 million customers in its six South Pacific markets. It provides services including voice, cable, DTT, DTH and IPTV, and has a towerco in Myanmar.
The company says its strategy is to expand business services and grow its cable and broadband presence according to the characteristics of each market.
On 1 June, Digicel completed its acquisition of Bermudan incumbent BTC.
