Irish-owned regional operator Digicel has appointed Philip van Dalsen as regional chief executive for the former territories of the Netherlands Antilles, Curacao, Saint Maarten, Suriname, Aruba, Bonaire and Guyana.
Van Dalsen, who will be based in Curaçao, held positions at Finland’s TeliaSonera, Italy’s Tiscali and pan-African mobile operator Celtel before becoming CEO of Digicel Suriname in March 2005.
He will be replaced in Suriname by Hans Lute.
