US aerospace component maker TransDigm has closed the acquisition of Data Device Corporation (DDC) from private equity firm Behrman Capital. Transdigm is paying US$1bn in cash for ILC Holdings that in turn holds DDC, a supplier of electronics used throughout the space market as well as military avionics and commercial aerospace.
