UK digital broadcaster UKTV has appointed Darren Childs as CEO and Jan Gooze-Zijl as CFO.
Childs, who is currently MD of the UK’s BBC Worldwide, which shares UKTV 50:50 with broadband and cable operator Virgin Media, replaces David Abraham.
Gooze-Zijl will join in September from Virgin Media, where he is currently finance director of planning.
September will also see Virgin Media CFO Eamonn O’Hare become the Chair of UKTV in addition to his role at Virgin Media.
The Chair of UKTV alternates every year between BBC Worldwide and Virgin Media as part of their joint ownership agreement.
