UK telco Cable&Wireless Worldwide has announced the internal promotion of Sean Mahon to Managing Director of its EMEA Enterprise division.
The company said that the division would manage all enterprise customers across EMEA (excluding the UK) and all Irish voice resellers.
Prior to this, Mahon was Managing Director of Cable&Wireless Worldwide’s Ireland business from 2007. His background is in the European TMT sector.
Nick Lambert, Managing Director of the group’s Global Markets business welcomed the appointment, which he said was based on Mahon’s strong performance at the helm of the Ireland division.
Cable&Wireless Worldwide provides communications services to large corporates, multinational companies, governments, carrier customers and resellers across the UK, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East & Africa, Continental Europe and North America. It operates a fibre network in the UK and NGN outside the country.
