US cableco Cox Communications has named Jill Campbell as its new chief operations officer. Campbell succeeds Leo Brennan, who retires in May after 28 years with the company.
In her new role, Campbell will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring all departments align with company strategies, according to a statement. She will also manage field operations, customer experience, marketing, sales and public affairs.
Herself a 29-year company veteran, Campbell has held multiple roles, most recently as senior vice president for field operations.
Cox Communications is one of several US companies that have recently agreed to sell spectrum to mobile operator Verizon Wireless.
