Former Cosmote Romania CEO Stefanos Theocharopoulos has been appointed as new CEO of Greek OTE’s Romanian subsidiary RomTelecom.
OTE announced that the new CEO started his job at the beginning of the month.
Theocharopoulos succeeds Mr Yorgos Ioannidis, who has been leading RomTelecom for the past four and a half years. .
Stefanos Theocharopoulos has worked for OTE Group in various managerial positions since 2002 and headed COSMOTE Romania since the beginning of 2008.
Prior to joining OTE Group, Mr. Theocharopoulos worked in various companies such as O2 in Germany, Dutchtone in the Netherlands, Vodafone Greece, Fujitsu Telecom Research Center in the UK and Ericsson Hellas.
