A Vietnamese consortium consisting of mobile operators EVN Telecom and Hanoi Telecom is working hard to meet a June 6 deadline to launch 3G services.
The companies won a 3G service licence in 2009 and must be ready to begin operations by the first week…

A Vietnamese consortium consisting of mobile operators EVN Telecom and Hanoi Telecom is working hard to meet a June 6 deadline to launch 3G services.

The companies won a 3G service licence in 2009 and must be ready to begin operations by the first week of June according to the terms of the deal.

EVN has stated that the company plans to launch services in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang by the middle of next month.
