Baltic telecoms operator Bite has appointed Chris Robbins to head its Lithuanian unit, Bite Lietuva, a spokesperson confirmed.
Fred Hrenchuk, who previously headed up both the Lithuanian and Latvian units, will continue as CEO of the Bite Group and Bite Latvija.
Robbins started with Bite Lietuva as its chief customer officer in May 2010.
Previously, Robbins worked as chief customer officer for Wind Mobile in Toronto, Canada and before that, as chief marketing officer for Vodafone Czech Republic (formerly Oskar Mobile) in Prague.
Owned by private investment firm Mid Europa Partners, Bite has had a formal partnership with Vodafone since 2003.
