Incoming BT CEO Gavin Patterson will take up his new role on 10 September 2013, the UK telecoms incumbent announced today.
Patterson, who was previously head of the company’s retail division, will succeed Ian Livingston following a board meeting on that day.
As previously reported, Livingston is leaving to join the country’s government later this year as Minister of State for Trade and Investment, and he will also be joining the House of Lords.
