UK incumbent BT has chosen Luca Zappia to head a newly created regional unit which encompasses its businesses across the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe and Russia.
Zappia will retain his current responsibilities – he is CEO of BT Switzerland – and spearhead BT’s new entity designed to create a dynamic and cost-effective business infrastructure.
The British company said this would help find growth opportunities across the region, which it described as “very promising”. BT operates networked IT services and solutions businesses in these territories.
