British incumbent BT has disclosed in a statement its growth programme in the Asia Pacific region.
“The first phases of our investment programme will globalise the key propositions and services our customers require from us,” Jeff Kelly, CEO BT Global Services, said in a statement. “We are also building out our professional services capability in the region to serve the needs of even the largest customers.”
The company is also looking to enhance existing networked IT services in the region, including voice and IP services, managed security and contact centre capabilities. BT added it would hire about 300 people in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan and Singapore.
