Swedish vendor Ericsson  has appointed board member Börje Ekholm as president and CEO of the company, effective 16 January 2017. He will replace CFO Jan Frykhammar, who stepped up in July when Hans Vestberg was dismissed after seven years on the job and will and remain as interim CEO until next year.
