State-owned Telecommunications Consultants of India (TCI) has decided to delay the sale of its 30% stake in Bharti Hexacom.
TCI said that the sale will not take place this fiscal.
Late last year, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs gave its blessing to the sale, saying that it was “the right time” in order to extract the highest possible value.
Bharti Hexacom is a JV between TCI and Bharti Airtel, which holds 70%.
