Canadian telco Bell Communications yesterday issued C$1bn in medium-term seven-year debentures.
The debentures are priced at 99.916 with a yield of 4.41% per year.
The company said that the proceeds of the debentures will be used to fund its acquisition of broadcasting group CTVglobemedia.
Regulators gave approval for the C$1.3bn deal this week, and Bell now expects it to be completed in the second quarter of 2011.
