Bell Aliant Regional Communications, a Canadian regional operator 45% owned by Bell Communications, is selling C$350m (US$338.5m) of medium term notes with a maturity date of September 13, 2017.
The Notes will be issued at a discount and carry a coupon of 4.37%.
The proceeds of the sale will be used to redeem the issue of 4.72% medium term notes due to mature September 26, 2011. Any remaining proceeds will be put toward working capital balance and for general corporate purposes.
The issue is scheduled to close on September 13.
CIBC, RBC Capital and TD securities are the co-lead managers and bookrunners.
