Belgian operator Belgacom is in discussions with electricity and gas supplier Lampiris with a view to selling electricity, according to local reports.
However, spokesperson Frédérique Verbiest played down the rumours saying: “We are always looking at new opportunities so we are in contacts with a number of companies, including Lampiris, but it doesn’t mean we will sign an agreement with them. At the moment there is nothing concrete with them.”
Lampiris was not immediately available for comments.
