Belgacom Bridging ICT has bought a 40% stake in ClearMedia, a Belgium company offering ‘cloud’ services to small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Belgium incumbent set up Belgacom Bridging ICT at the end of June to reinforce its convergent ICT offering for SMEs in the light of increasing convergence of telecoms and IT as well as increasing importance of cloud services and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
In fact, it took over four IT integrators (ElectroComputer, Interconnect, Jockordy and SoftComputer) and consolidated them into the Belgacom Bridging ICT.
No financial details were released.
