Bangladeshi mobile operator Banglalink will likely file an IPO by the end of the year, according to the Financial Express citing Shakil Rizvi, Dhaka Stock Exchange DSE president.
Banglalink CEO Ahmed Abou Doma met with the DSE management at the end of May to discuss the listing, reports the Indian newspaper. According to Rizvi, the Bangladeshi telecommunications authorities have given their approval for the IPO plans.
Banglalink is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Egyptian mobile phone company Orascom Telecom.
