Latvian cableco Baltcom is now 99.96%-owned by Luxembourg-registered Rpax One, following the recent buyout of a minority shareholder.
Rpax One, an investment vehicle set up by private equity investors Ardian and Resource Partners, recently acquired the 29.6% stake of shareholder Mackonar Impex.
The ownership structure shift comes a few months after Baltcom expanded nationally.
In September, it acquired number two Latvian player Izzi for an undisclosed sum. Although Baltcom and Izzi continue to operate as separate legal entities, the move increased the company’s infrastructure coverage by about 30%.
