London-headquartered law firm Ashurst has appointed Nick Elverston and Amanda Hale as partners in its global TMT team. Both Hale and Elverston will be based in London, focusing on the EMEA and US markets while working with Ashurst’s TMT practitioners in Australia, the firm said in a statement.

Elverston, who has been a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills since 2004, currently co-heads the firm’s TMT group. Before that, he was a partner in the Clifford Chance TMT practice.
Hale will also join from Herbert Smith Freehills, where she has been a partner in the TMT practice since 2011. Overall, she has 22 years of advisory experience in the TMT sector, including at Clifford Chance but also at the UK telecoms regulator.
Both Hale and Elverston will be based in London, focusing on the EMEA and US markets while working with Ashurst’s TMT practitioners in Australia, the firm said in a statement.
They will focus on transactional, commercial and regulatory matters, as well as tech and digital issues.
