Mexican incumbent America Movil has sold US$2bn of notes in two tranches according to a final term sheet filed with the SEC.
The first tranche was for a total of US$1.25bn. The ten-year senior secured notes priced at 99.49, carry a coupon of 3.125% and yield 3.185%.
The second tranche matures in 2042 and was for a total of US$750m. The 4.375% senior secured notes priced at 98.244 to yield 4.482%.
Interest on both tranches will be paid twice a year.
The book-running managers were Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. The co-managers were Citigroup, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities and Mizuho Securities.
America Movil projected the issue would secure ratings of A2 from Moody’s, A- from S&P and A from Fitch.
