Mexican telecoms giant America Movil is reportedly proposing a debt offering of up to Yn1.9bn (US$299m) in senior notes.
Moody’s reported that the proposed notes are senior unsecured debt obligations. The credit ratings agency also said that the proceeds of the notes would be used to fund capital expenditures in Yuan.
It assigned a A2 rating to the proposed offering.
According to IFR magazine, HSBC has been mandated by America Movil to lead a roadshow in Hong Kong and Singapore today and tomorrow.
IFR reported that America Movil is only holding investor meetings at this point.
