Mexico-based telecoms group America Movil has made a Y12bn (US$158m) bond offering, according to a report by Fitch.
Fitch reported that the offering was divided into two series. The first series involved Y6.9bn (US$91m) in 1.23% notes due in 2014. The second series involved Y5.1bn (US$67m) in 1.53% notes due in 2016.
Fitch assigned “A” ratings to both series.
Moody’s said in a report last week that both of the series in America Movil’s offering, in aggregate, “should amount up to JPY30bn”.
According to an IFR report published by Reuters, the underwriters for the offering are Mizuho and Mitsubishi UFJ.
