Dean Prevost, president of Canadian IP networking firm Allstream, will leave the company on 17 January 2014, parent company Manitoba Telecom Services has announced.
The operator said in a statement that Prevost is leaving to “pursue other interests” and that Allstream COO Michael Strople will assume his role.
Prevost joined Allstream’s predecessor company AT&T Canada Enterprises in 1997 as vice-president of strategy and business development. He served in other roles such as chief strategy officer and COO.
Strople has been with Allstream since 2005.
