French equipment vendor Alcatel-Lucent has confirmed the subscription ratio and timetable of its capital increase which will amount to €956m (US$1.29bn), a small increase from €955m (US$1.288bn).
It added that the subscription ratio and the timetable of the capital increase announced on 4 November 2013 will not be modified, as the 4,335,639 new shares issued since 3 November fall below the number calling for an adjustment.
The subscription period will start on 19 November and end on 29 November.
The equipment maker is looking to strengthen its balance sheet after recording losses of €200m (US$270m), which include restructuring charges of €117m (US$158m).
Other plans include launching a US$750m high-yield bonds offering and implementing a €500m (US$675.4m) syndicated revolving credit facility.
