Olivier Barberot is to replace Christian Pinon as chairman and CEO of France Telecom subsidiary Globecast. Pinon will be leaving the company as of September 30 2010 after ten years at the helm to pursue a new opportunity in the television products…

Olivier Barberot is to replace Christian Pinon as chairman and CEO of France Telecom subsidiary Globecast. Pinon will be leaving the company as of September 30 2010 after ten years at the helm to pursue a new opportunity in the television products division at Orange France.

Barberot was formerly executive VP of Human Resources at France Telecom/Orange, having joined the French telecoms incumbent in March 2003.
