Dharmapalan, who will lead a team of over 2,000, said: “As the telecommunications sector turn to new sources of growth, operators are facing new challenges and opportunities associated with data traffic and delivering services focused on their customers. I look forward to helping our clients to become market leaders in these challenging but exciting times,” Dharmapalan stated.
The industry veteran has worked on transactions across telecoms, technology, media and entertainment, and until recently led the group’s Telecommunications Center in Beijing. He has also led the firm’s Global Media Consulting Practice and the Technology Practice in Silicon Valley.
