Zain Saudi Arabia is understood to have awarded a contract to Motorola to provide an LTE network and end-to-end LTE solution.
The network, which will be the largest of its type in Riyadh, will be in the 2.6GHz frequency band and will replace Zain’s current 3G network.
Motorola will provide LTE solutions including radio access network, evolved packet core, devices and optimisation and integration services, allowing Zain to provide customers with high-speed mobile broadband.
