Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has been contracted by Swisscom to upgrade the Swiss operator’s 2G and 3G networks.
NSN will modernise Swisscom’s mobile packet core network, replacing the existing authentication, authorisation and accounting system with NSN’s One-AAA server, which enables operators to manage subscriber access to new, customised services.
The upgrade is now underway and is on course to be completed this year.
