Swedish vendor Ericsson has named Valter D’Avino as head of Western & Central Europe, effective as of 1 August 2013.
Currently responsible for managed services within the Business Unit Global Services, he will succeed Anders Runevad “who has decided to leave Ericsson to pursue other opportunities”, the company stated.
A successor to D’Avino in his current role will be announced separately, Ericsson said.
D’Avino joined the vendor in 1990 and has held various positions within the company since then, including president of Ericsson Network Services Italy and vice president services of Market Unit South East Europe.
