Telecom Italia has shortlisted three local bidders for its interest in fixed-line incumbent Telecom Argentina, according to media reports.
The trio reportedly consists of property investors IRSA Inversiones y Representaciones, Roman Group founding partner Alfredo Roman and Argentina Airports 2000, an airport development firm led by Corporación América’s Henry Gutierrez and Eduardo Eurnekian.
According to the reports, the bidders have offered between US$580m and US$630m for TI’s 50% stake in Sofra, the holding vehicle which controls Telecom Argentina.
