Local news agency Ukrainian News reported that the unsecured ‘series R’ bonds will be offered in a private placement.
The proceeds will be used to repay existing debt, the report stated.
Kiev-based Ukrtelecom was not immediately available for comment.
ESU, owned by Austrian investment fund Epic, is Ukrtelecom’s major shareholder with a 92.79% stake.
