Bahamian cable firm Cable Bahamas announced that it has repurchased the 5,954,000 shares in the company previously owned by Columbus Communications for US$80m, meaning the company is now 100% Bahamian-owned.
The share acquisition plans were initially announced last summer and were funded through both the issuance of US$40m of new shares and a US$95m senior credit facility.
