California-based Leap Wireless, the company behind wireless brand Cricket, has appointed Perley McBride as its new CFO.
He takes over from Jerry Elliott – who joined the telco in May – who is moving within the company to become Leap’s COO following the departure of former COO Raymond Roman. Roman is providing consultancy services to Leap until the end of the year.
McBride starts as CFO on 10 December and was most recently executive vice president of finance at The Weather Company.
In the past he has held roles in the past at Frontier Communications, Sprint PCS and Citizens Communications.
