Vodafone is set to relaunch its budget mobile brand Otelo in Germany, the company confirmed.
The UK-based operator is looking to seize a share of the German market from Deutsche Telekom, O2 and fellow no-frills brand E-Plus, which is owned by KPN.
Vodafone plans to launch services in Germany from February onwards, selling its product online only.
Vodafone had initially acquired Otelo when it took control of Arcor in 2000.
