US cableco Cablevision Systems Corporation has closed a public offering of US$750m of 5.875% senior notes due 2022.
As previously reported, BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Guggenheim, JP Morgan, Natixis, Nomura, RBC Capital Markets, SunTrust, UBS and US Bancorp Investments were joint bookrunners for the offering.
The cableco is using the proceeds for its tender offer to repurchase its 8.50% senior notes due 2015 and 8.50% senior notes due 2014, to repay some of its term loan B-2, and for general corporate purposes.
In the tender offer, Cablevision repurchased US$400m of its notes, short of its US$600m target. It acquired US$370.7m of the 2014 notes and US$29m of the 2015 notes.
BofA Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, Barclays and BNP Paribas acted as dealer managers for the tender offers.
