SBA Communications has priced a US$500m bond due 2019. The issuance was first announced yesterday at US$300m, and upsized subsequently to US$500m.
The notes have been priced at par and carry a coupon of 5.625%.
The proceeds of the offering will go towards the cash consideration of the acquisition of Towerco, which it agreed to buy for US$1.45bn in June. On that deal it was advised by relationship bank JP Morgan but details of banks advising on its most recent issuance were not disclosed.
SBA expects the closing of the notes to occur on 28 September.
