The supervisory board of Croatia’s T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) has elected Deutsche Telekom’s (DT’s) Mark Klein as its new president.
Klein joined DT this year as senior vice president for marketing in Europe and has been a member of the Croatian unit’s supervisory board since April. Previously, he worked for Vodafone Germany, where he held various leadership roles in the marketing and sales sectors.
Klein replaces Andreas Moelich, who left the DT group in August, resigning both as president of the T-HT supervisory board and as DT’s senior vice president for human resources in Europe.
The Croatian telco also announced the resignation of management board member and chief human resources officer Branka Skaramuca, who leaves on 17 September to join DT as senior vice president for HR in Europe. Irena Jolic Simovic, currently T-HT’s chief operating officer for business, will replace her in both roles. Company chief operating officer Norbert Hentges will take on Simovic’s duties until a replacement is appointed.
Deutsche Telekom owns 51% of T-HT, which is listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. The War Veterans Fund owns 7% and the Pensioners’ Fund 3.5%, with the remaining shares held by private and institutional investors.
