Marek Slacik is to become CEO at Telenor’s Danish operations as of 1 September.
Since 2009 he was Telenor Serbia’s chief marketing officer and he has ten years of telecoms experience with stints at Vodafone and Telefonica 02.
He succeeds Jon Erik Haug who starts as head of people development for the Telenor Group on 1 November.
Kjell Morten Johnsen, head of European operations at Telenor, said: “Marek knows the telecommunications industry very well and has been a key part of making Telenor Serbia a major success story over the last few years.”
