Irish incumbent Eircom has announced plans to appoint Herb Hribar as CEO and Richard Moat as CFO in early September.
Hribar, previously CEO of US Ethernet specialist Cenx, replaces Paul Donovan, who announced plans earlier this year to step down for personal reasons.
Moat was most recently deputy CFO of UK mobile operator Everything Everywhere. He will be replacing Shane Doherty, who has been acting CFO of Eircom since the end of June.
Eircom officially exited Ireland’s examinership restructuring process on 11 June, when the company’s equity became entirely owned by its senior lenders.
Commenting on the new appointments, Eircom chairman Ned Sullivans said: “Herb and Richard join Eircom at an exciting time, with a recently restructured balance sheet and reduced debt.
“Herb will lead the continued transformation of Eircom including the investment in our fibre network that will support new high bandwidth products to further position the business for the future.”
