Carlos Slim’s Mexican behemoth America Movil (AMX) has added a further US$750m notes to its previously announced two-tranche US$2bn issue from earlier this month, according to IFR.
The issuance adds notes to both tranches.
AMX is adding US$350m to the first tranche of 3.125% ten-year senior secured notes; it initially offered US$1.25bn. The US$350m notes are priced at 102.623 to yield 2.82%.
AMX is also issuing US$400m through the second tranche of 4.375% 30-year senior secured notes; it originally offered US$750m notes in this tranche. The new offering is priced at 104.601 to yield 4.016%.
The price of both tranches is notably higher than the initial pricing of the tranches on 9 July. The first tranche, maturing 2022, initially priced at 99.49 to yield 3.185%, while the second tranche, maturing 2042, originally priced at 98.244 to yield 4.482%.
Citigroup and Morgan Stanley were the joint bookrunning managers for the sale.
