Telecom equipment-maker Tellabs has appointed Dan Kelly as acting CEO while Rob Pullen, the company’s CEO, is treated for cancer, according to a letter to stockholders from chairman Michael Birck.
Pullen revealed he had colon cancer in a letter to shareholders in April and said he had been undergoing chemotherapy.
Tellabs said Pullen recently had surgery and was in a stable condition, but gave no indication of if or when he would return to his role.
