Skype Technologies has named Miles Flint as its new chairman.
Flint is currently advisor to Silver Lake private equity, the company that recently invested in Skype and has in the past served as president of Sony Ericsson Mobile. Skype also announced the appointment of David Gurle as GM and VP, Skype for Business, effective March 2010. Gurle will replace Stefan Oberg who steps down in March.
