Prior to joining Grameenphone, Rusten was CFO of Telenor Hungary. He also served as senior vice president with Telenor in Central and Eastern Europe.
Grameenphone is 55.8%-controlled by Telenor, the Norwegian telecoms group.
Rusten replaces Raihan Shamsi, who joined the company in 2010.
