STC appoints new chairman

Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has named Abdelaziz bin Abdullah Al- Sugair as chairman of the board, effective as of 28 April 2012.
He replaces Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Jasser.

Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has named Abdelaziz bin Abdullah Al- Sugair as chairman of the board, effective as of 28 April 2012.

He replaces Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Jasser.

In early April, STC said that its CEO, Saud Al Daweesh, would step down on 1 October 2012. No reason was given for his upcoming departure. Daweesh has been CEO since 2009.
