Poland’s state-owned PKP Group has postponed the deadline for final bids for its telecoms operation, TK Telekom, for the third time to 31 May, according to Polish newspaper Puls Biznesu, cited by Reuters.
Originally set for 9 March, the deadline was first postponed to 2 April at the request of interested bidders to allow time for due diligence to be completed and then to 23 April.
A PKP spokesperson confirmed in early March that six companies were shortlisted for the privatisation but declined to reveal their identities.
The advising consortium for the deal consists of Access CF, Grupa Konsultingowa Jagiello Wrebiak i Wspolnicy and Business Consulting.
PKP and TK Telekom were not immediately available for comment.
