Saud Al Daweesh, the CEO of Saudi Telecom (STC) has submitted his resignation, which has been accepted by the company’s board of directors.
According to a statement on the Saudi Bourse, Daweesh will step down on 1 October 2012. No reason was given for his departure.
Daweesh became CEO in 2009.
He is also the vice chairman of Oger Telecom, a Saudi telco partly-owned by STC.
