Ghana’s largest mobile network operator, MTN Ghana, has appointed Standard Bank to coordinate its US$300m five-year loan, TelecomFinance has confirmed.
The dual-tranche loan, in Ghanaian cedis and US dollars, will reportedly be launched in March to national and international banks.
Proceeds of the transaction will be used for general corporate purposes.
