Brasil Telecom, part of the Brazilian telecoms group Oi, is proposing an issue of US$1bn in 10-year senior unsecured notes, according to ratings agency Moody’s.
Moody’s said that the proceeds of the offering would be used in Brasil Telecom’s liability management to improve the company’s debt maturity profile and capex funding.
The ratings agency gave the offering a Baa2 rating.
